I have placed a notability tag on this article because I notice it has been deleted twice in the past month see here. Does anyone have a view on whether he is notable? Paul20070 (talk) 11:54, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The award is evidence of notability, as is the discography - most of the records were released on notable labels. I think the deletion may have been because of incorrect information, certainly the content could not have been the same as this - see the AFD: I don't think WP:BOLLOCKS and speedy deletion criteria G3 (vandalism) apply here. --Snigbrook(talk) 12:36, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
He was one of the four nominations for the award, and did not win, but still the discography is evidence of notability. --Snigbrook(talk) 12:43, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds fair enough to me. Paul20070 (talk) 13:19, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This Chris Parkinson is not the Chris Parkinson who was the subject of that AfD. User "Jerk, Beefy!" (talk·contribs) was banned as a result of their vandalism and trolling related to that page and others. I hope that doesn't happen again here.
