Disambiguation note[edit]

There's only one Chris Darwin at the moment, but you may note there is also Chris Darwin (actor) who has appeared in such highbrow productions as Coronation Street, Brookside, Heartbeat, etc [1]. There is also Chris Darwin (psychologist)/ aka Christopher J. Darwin, emeritus professor at Sussex University [2]. Flying Fische (talk) 12:59, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notable?[edit]

Being related to someone notable does not in itself confer notability Greenmaven (talk) 11:59, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

These issues were thrashed out pretty extensively at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chris Darwin just a few days ago. Sergeant Cribb (talk) 16:51, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Charles Darwin has hundreds of descendants - why is Chris Darwin singled out with his own page? Being a self-promoter based on a family connection isn't something that should be encouraged. Most westerners would have a famous ancestor four generations back! — Preceding unsigned comment added by LyndellaLee (talkcontribs) 01:29, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No consensus?[edit]

Most in the discussion about deletion were in favor of deletion Greenmaven (talk) 12:04, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you feel that the AFD was closed incorrectly, then you could take it to Wikipedia:Deletion review. However, please remember that that board is for cases where you think the closer interpreted the debate incorrectly, not just where you wanted a different conclusion. Please also note that you should first discuss it with the closer, in this case User:Timotheus Canens. Sergeant Cribb (talk) 16:49, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
