Status[edit]

Completely reformatted references, have close to 20 in total now. Consolidated in their own section. Removed bad citations. Added infobox and a few graphs of content. Nearly everything is supported by an immediate inline citation at this point. TO DO: get an image, provide citations for all the labels and such hes produced for. The ones posted there are all legit, but Im getting tired. Check the bios and discographys from the reference section for suitable inlines. Jay Dubya (talk) 19:07, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Chrisd.ultimatephoto.jpg[edit]

Image:Chrisd.ultimatephoto.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Looks like the image was removed, whatever it was. Jay Dubya (talk) 13:14, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Multi-Module Embedded Infobox (!)[edit]

Because the subject is such a "renaissance man", I've decided to implement a template:biography that includes modules from infobox:musician, Infobox film actor and Infobox writer. Bear with me for a bit while I design and implement it. In other words, please wait until I have actually finished before you declare it garbage and revert my changes. I think everyone will be pleased once its completed. For more info on what Im talking about, see Ian_Watkins_(Lostprophets) Category:Embeddable_templates Infoboxes#Multi-part_infoboxes. Plagiarism ?[edit]

A whole bunch of this appears to share many characteristics the bio on Flesh Eater's website here: http://www.flesheaters.com/?page_id=15 I'm not 100% clear at this time if wiki took from there or if they took from wiki. Whoever did it changed some words around so its not identical but its still obvious. From wiki:

"He worked in the programming department of the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles from 1999, and was a programmer there from January, 2006 until August 1, 2009."

From their site:

"Chris worked as one of the programmers at The American Cinematheque in Los Angeles from 1999 to 2005, and the main programmer of The American Cinematheque’s Egyptian Theatre from 2006 through July 2009."

Im adding the site as a reference for now, but this needs to be fixed. The guy easily meets notability but you couldnt tell at this point because of the lack of citations that IMO are disguising plagaiarism. Im working on it, help is always appreciated. Multiple Chris Desjardins'[edit]

FYI, there is a Chris Desjardins who is a music teacher in Massachusetts, one who is a programmer, a US corporal Chris Desjardins, and a canadian Chris Desjardins who has made it into news papers for cosplay at music festivals. None of this are this Chris Desjardins. Jay Dubya (talk) 18:20, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
