Untitled[edit]

Most of the text here was lifted from Chicago (poem), which seems to have been badly written without thought to the topic. (Perhaps because it's a lazy cut-and-paste, ie, copyvio?) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Choor monster (talkcontribs) 2013-01-13T13:07:51‎

Indeed, there seems to be a lot of overlap. I've tagged the articles for a merge; I'll di it myself if nobody else objects or steps up, but it seems like it would be great to have someone more knowledgeable about poetry help out. I note there's a lot of text which is more appropriate for the author's own article, too. -- Mikeblas (talk) 00:49, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Chicago (poem) to be merged here?[edit]

  • Very weak oppose. I believe both articles should be expanded, and it is happening at a glacial pace, but since expansion can be done as one article just as slowly, I don't actually see any point to my opposition. (In fact, I'll do the merger myself if no other editor volunteers, as per Mikeblas' technical reluctance.) Choor monster (talk) 12:47, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - I think the poem is famous enough for its own article. --Jtle515 (talk) 21:39, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ok; given that no support in almost 2.5 years, I'll close the proposal Klbrain (talk) 10:33, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
