Sourcing and reverts[edit]

In this edit, Magnolia677, you reverted severeal edits by an unregistered (IP) edited as "unsourced", including the paragraph:

She is among a handful of prominent local singers who have openly criticised the HKSAR government, such as in her 2019 single “Talk to me” (人話) which went viral on youtube upon release.

I may be mistaken, but is this not supported by the source https://www.auliving.com.au/zh-tw/201912/132479.html%7Ctitle=港歌手方皓玟推出新歌《人話》撐反送中 上線2天點擊率破40萬 already cited in the article? Also, you reverted the date of the song (2019) in this edit Publication dates of songs and other creative works such as books and albums are generally considered to be implicitly sourced to the work itself, with no separate source needed. At worst, a {{cn}} tag might be better than instant removal when there is no serious doubt of the accuracy of the content. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 19:51, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

IP Editor, when an edit is reverted, please start a discussion on the article talk page rather than just counter-reverting. This is where you should make any case for an edit being properly included. Also, it is usually better to provide a source when this can be done. When citing sources not in English, using the |trans-titel= and |trans-work= parameters to provide English-language versions of the title of the source and of the publication in which it is included can be very helpful, although it is not required.
