Same lifespan as Dave McGrath (footballer, born 1872)[edit]

I found this thread discussing this issue. There seems to be some doubt about whether a David McGrath even played for Fitzroy; I'd want to see some better sources before anything like a merge. (As an aside - this is why the low notability bar for athletes is ridiculous - the sources they're relying on there aren't even official and we don't know where they're getting their information! The two websites listed give no indication of where they might be getting those birth and death dates. Perhaps the print source is better.) Frickeg (talk) 15:02, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
