Support for Mitt Romney[edit]

I don't have any especially strong feelings on this, but I don't think there's any significant harm done by leaving out the fact that Lollar supported Romney. It's not an especially well-documented fact and not of great relevance to his career; and an editor has asserted that the subject would prefer it not be included. WP:COI is of course an issue, and I've told the user in question that on their talk page, but the information seems neutral so there's no threat to WP:NPOV. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 18:41, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see any reason to remove it. The editor claims that Lollar wants it removed, but there's no evidence of that. And even if there was, it doesn't violate WP:BLP so why should it be? Tiller54 (talk) 15:39, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'd argue that rather than demanding evidence we ought to assume good faith. Aside from that, you haven't really addressed my argument. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 19:08, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. I'm not determined that it be included or anything, I just think that with so little information in the article anyway, there didn't seem to be a good reason to remove it. Tiller54 (talk) 20:20, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Definitely agreed that it's no big deal. I've expanded the article a little but there's probably still more that could be sourced. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 20:36, 21 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
