designer of the Mad Hatter[edit]

In the article, it says: "Sir John Tenniel's drawing of the Mad Hatter", and further down it says: "the large mad hatter label, designed by Paul Whitehead". So my question would be: who actually designed the mad hatter? Or did they both do that in some way? Mark in wiki (talk) 08:30, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with defectives[edit]

In the article, I mentioned that those "heavy, thick vinyl" pressings made when Charisma was being distributed in the UK by B&C often had surface noise and that when the Genesis import of "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" had plenty of defective returns...is based on my own experience managaing a record store in Minneapolis at the time. We had to take back nearly all imported copies we sold due to surface noise. I spoke to Records Limited, who was our import distributor and they said that they have gotten many complaints about the noisy pressings of Charisma albums at that time. (I don't know how to prove this, in Wikipedia terms, but it's part of the history of Charisma Records.)

Was or were[edit]

The text reads: "Charisma were a British record label who were founded by former journalist Tony Stratton-Smith in 1969." Shouldn't it be "was" instead of "were"? warpozio (talk) 20:29, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
