GA Reassessment[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch
This is emphatically not a good article. It is certainly formatted like one, but it emphatically does not address the main aspects of the topic, and makes many statements of dubious truth that are uncited. Instead it goes into an astonishing number of asides into things of dubious relevance, and heroically fails at the immense task it takes upon itself into forcing oxygen into the same box with the rest of the group. Unless all of these are fixed, the GA sticker on this article should be consigned to oblivion: if it were nominated today and weren't already one, it would be a quickfail. Nevertheless, I will give it the usual seven days for all these massive problems to be fixed. Double sharp (talk) 06:26, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Double sharp, please be sure, per the GAR instructions, to notify the original GA nominator and reviewer, plus other major participants in that review, major editors on the article, and the two WikiProjects listed on the talk page, before starting the seven-day count. Looking at the article, the number of unaddressed template boxes make the prospects of the article achieving a GA level here quite daunting; nevertheless, the goal of GAR is bring the nominated articles back to said level, which is one reason why the notifications are part of the process. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:42, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. I am pretty new to this process and thus have forgotten to do several of these things. (I did place this on the WP:ELEM announcements page.) On the other hand, it's getting pretty late where I am now, so I might do these tomorrow and only start the seven-day count then. Double sharp (talk) 16:48, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
...and  Done. The seven days start now. Double sharp (talk) 06:25, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing has been done in seven days, so unfortunately I have to delist this article. Double sharp (talk) 14:59, 1 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
