advertising for a ceased organization? I doubt it.DGG 02:18, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure, the advert tag has been on since ages (maybe the organization even existed back then). But, leaving the advert question aside, why should the subject be notable? --B. Wolterding 08:27, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The press attention it got when it was active. Thats the basic criterion. The reason it got the attention was the sponsorship and the quality of the students--for the perceived importance of it to the participating colleges, see the ghits. Perceived importance is notability.DGG 08:48, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, more precisely, the basic criterion is "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." The articles cites some university sources, which are not really independent. What are the press sources you are referring to? Also, this Google search doesn't give me too many hits (87 distinct), and even not all of these refer to the subject (although the search term is already quite specific). The notability of the participating colleges is out of question, but that would warrant a merger rather than a separate article. --B. Wolterding 18:51, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm adding the notability + sources templates again; maybe someone comes up with sources. --B. Wolterding 07:56, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
