Untitled[edit]

I created the pages that link to Central High School Saint Joseph Missouri for the intent for all people who know of the school or about Saint Joseph in general, will be able to find out about the history of and the importance of the school in Missouri State history, it is the second oldest school west of the Mississippi and many notable people in history have gone to the school or had been enrolled at it at one time or another. I believe this page and all others linked/redirected to the afore mention page: Central High School Saint Joseph Missouri should remain on wikipedia, end discussion. Thanks you.

My edits[edit]

I removed the speedy tag because I don't see evidence of a PROD here or at Central High School Saint Joseph Missouri. What I did see was a mess of redirects with a circular redirect between two articles (which I fixed and I'm getting to the double redirects next). The article could use some editing for tone and better sourcing, but I don't see a speedy rationale here.--Isotope23 16:29, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah I found the PROD at Central High School, St. Joseph, Missouri, but given that it was not deleted via PROD there still is no speedy rationale to delete this page. I've gone ahead and redirected the PROD'd page here as this is the best name for the article, which I guess can be construed as a contested PROD, though I'd have no objection if this page was PROD'd or AFD'd. My move was more procedural so that all the redirs are pointing to one place and if this does get deleted at some point it will be easier for any admin considering it to find the multitude of redirects; if it doesn't get deleted than at least it is at a better namespace.--Isotope23 16:36, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Second oldest claim[edit]

The second oldest claim west of the Mississippi is dubious at best since it reflects an 1895 date http://web.sjsd.k12.mo.us/Schools/SchoolLocation.asp?LocationID=39 Central High School in St. Louis claims 1853 http://oldkunnel.net/schooldaze.html and Lowell School in San Francisco claims 1858 http://www.sfusd.edu/schwww/sch697/about/history/ 16:38, 5 August 2009 (UTC)~~
