Overhaul, templates changed.[edit]

I've just completed an overhaul to deal with the tone of this article, among other issues.

The lead contained information about Putong's early life. This has been moved to its own section. There was an interpretation of one of Putong's essays that gave unattributed valuation of his work to his community. I removed this. I believe the tone of the article as it stands now justifies removal of the peacock template. If you disagree, please discuss here and I'll work to improve it further.

In the course of my revisions, I removed the sole source cited in the article. It was a government document showing the reversal of a renaming that attached Putong's name to a high school. It appeared to be in conflict with the article's statements about the renaming, and provided no useful information except that the school was no longer named after him. With or without that reference, there is absolutely nothing in this article that is sourced. I've applied the BLP no sources template.

It is not a BLP. --Racklever (talk) 07:30, 14 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Oops! You're right. Fixing the template. Thanks. Skeletor3000 (talk) 14:42, 14 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
