Wrong name?[edit]

Why is this article titled under one of her aliases, and not her real name? Maury Markowitz (talk) 18:50, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Date confusion?[edit]

I notice that the dates/ages don't seem to add up in the paragraph about Chadwick's time in Woodstock. The text says she went there at the age of 14, which would have been in late 1871 at the earliest. (This presumes the given birth month/year of October 1857 is correct). But it also says she had already been arrested there in 1870, when she would have been been 12 or 13.

Furthermore, the following paragraph says she returned to Eastwood after a 3-year absence to discover that her sister 'had' married in 1875. That puts her return sometime in 1875 after the marriage, or in 1876—or anytime later, really. But even a return in late 1875 points to a more-than-3-year absence if Chadwick had actually left in either 1870 or 1871. Was there an unmentioned brief return to Eastwood in 1872 or so? Or...?

There are a lot of citations for this article, which is good, but it's not so good that the 'facts' don't add up.

I found contradicting information concerning the day she died. This article from the The Sun (June, 19th, 1915) says she died on October 11th, 1906. (making her 49 at death). https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/imageserver/newspapers/P29pZD1TVU5DSDE5MTUwNjE5JmdldHBkZj10cnVl

Interesting person, Chadwick; after just following a few links, it's clear to me that this article could be usefully expanded.Valli Nagy 17:46, 23 July 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by ValliNagy (talkcontribs)
