"Highest-Selling American Idol Winner"
Underwood now edges out Kelly Clarkson for the top-selling American Idol of all time by approximately 100,000 albums in the American market. Counting international sales, Clarkson has sold approximately 21 million albums while Underwood has sold between 14 and 15 million. This is a distinction that needs to be made.
