Reference for cancellation[edit]

Do we have a good reference for when the Captain Copyright initiative was actually cancelled? I've added a ref to the earliest story about it I know of - which is p2pnet's of August 18, 2006 - but that story doesn't make the date clear, so I added another ref to a Web log which mentions the p2pnet story and gives a date. However, it seems that Captain Copyright was actually cancelled significantly before that; it's the date of reporting, not the date of cancellation. People are only hearing about it now in February 2007 (I changed the article from saying February 2007 was the actual date of cancellation) because it's taken this long to make it into Slashdot and similar media. The actual cancellation had to have been some time before August 18, 2006, and might well have been significantly before that. 67.158.72.8 12:54, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
