I was asked to take a look at the Canada Portal on Wikinews. From there I found several links to three seperate places where currents events about Canada were being written. In an effort to merge all three and meet the Wikipedia standard , I have established the Current Events Canada on the Current Events Portal. The alternative was to create a Current Events WikiProject but the mandate of such is more complicated. I have tried to make all the sections are familiar to you as possible and I hope the transition will not be too hard. If you need any help, feel free to contact me.
