Date of last trains[edit]

Date of last train is stated as 1991. By this year, was the train running to Aberystwyth only?

Timings[edit]

Did the trains run daily, all year round? Were there any differences in timetable between aberystwyth and pwllheli? Any info regarding timings and lengths of journeys would be useful

yes the trains ran daily with a one up and one back service. in the summer months there were also other trains that ran from london and birmingham to both Aberystwyth and Pwlhelli upto about 12 carriages in length using BR class 25s and then later Br Class 37/4s which had been overhauled and fitted with ETH capability so they could heat coaches----

Train operating companies[edit]

What companies ran the CCE after GWR? Presumebly British Rail (then Virgin?)

only BR as it finished in 1991 way before privatisation----

Steam specials[edit]

This paragraph needs to say which years these ran.

Automated buffet car[edit]
