CXX (disambiguation)CXX – There may not be a primary topic. CXX currently redirects to C++. The dab page is receiving an abnormally high number of page views, indicating a high number of readers are searching for something other than the file extension for C++ files; such as the No. CXX Squadron. • Support per nomination. There are eight entries listed upon the CXX (disambiguation) page, with no indication that users researching the general-purpose programming language C++, created by Danish computer scientist Bjarne Stroustrup, are typing .cxx or CXX instead of C++, thus making those redirects predominant over the combined prominence of the other seven entries. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 21:00, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, given that the name of the programming language is C++ and not CXX, the use of "X" to mean "+" is only a technical workaround. Most of the entries on the disambiguation page are about things that are really named "CXX". JIP | Talk 17:55, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
