Record[edit]

Sherdog shows him at 6-0. TUF fights are officialy exhibition matches so that loss doesn't appear on his official win-loss record.--Cube lurker (talk) 19:44, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

UFC.com says CB is 7-1 (due to his win over Tim in the semifinals). The semifinal matches count because they're sanctioned for 3 rounds. http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=fighter.detail&pid=982 JustinTD79 (talk) 20:43, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The issue when I made that above post was he was listed as 6-1 based on his first loss to Amir. It was made prior to his official loss in the finale on June-21. Sherdog still lists him as 6-1. My understanding is that the non-finale fights are exhibitions because official fights must have their results immediately reported through the athletic commisions (which would give away the ending of the reality show episodes.)--Cube lurker (talk) 20:55, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
UFC.com has C.B. at 7-1. Yet, they only show his finale match against Amir as his UFC fight history. C.B.'s TUF profile shows him as 6-0 (assuming that's at the start of TUF). Sherdog has him at 6-1. So the UFC believes that C.B. won a professional fight between the time he started TUF and now, but we must assume it was outside the UFC otherwise they would list it in his fight history, and Sherdog doesn't know anything about this extra fight. Confusing. --TreyGeek (talk) 00:58, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Worst case, I'm sure he'll fight again in a few months and we can see how sources report his record going into that fight.--Cube lurker (talk) 01:13, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A general note on Ultimate Fighter fights: they all count as exhibition fights because they don't immediate release the results. Therefore when counting pro-records they should not be included. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zacharymcgovern (talkcontribs) 19:25, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here we go to start the controversy again. The graphics at UFC Fight Night prior to the fight had C.B. at 7 wins, 2 losses. Can't access Sherdog at the moment to see if they agree and what the missing fights are on the wiki article. UFC.com has him at 7-1 after UFC Fight Night. Would be nice if UFC could agree with itself. --TreyGeek (talk) 04:28, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Is he named after the radio? was his dad a cop or trucker? does anybody know what the C. and the B. stand for? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.129.20.239 (talk) 07:33, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
