Is the "C" Clamp for woodworking and welding...the same "C" clamp that a mechanic would use for changing a ball joint in a 1989 jeep camanche?

C-clamp's 2 articles[edit]

While the C-Clamp (stagecraft) article is particular, it also repeats or extends what's in this article. Could they be merged? Manytexts (talk) 00:27, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Woodworking section[edit]

The "Woodworking" section is overburdened with instructions on how to use a clamp without damage to the workpiece(s). It could stand to be pruned a bit, and made more descriptive, rather than prescriptive. __ Just plain Bill (talk) 01:00, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
