What is the "correct" pronunciation of Buena Vista?

LOL, the "correct" pronunciation would be Boo-ain'-a Vee'-sta. The locals call it Beu'-na Vis'ta. Actually the locals just call it Beu-nee. Gandydancer 17:14, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jeremy Castle reference[edit]

Evidently the reference to the song "A Little Bit of Heaven" by Jeremy Castle,is not correct. I have not heard the song, but several other references said it was refering to the town of Bella vista Arkansas. Anyone know? IAMTheJuggalo 23:47, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

2009 Recall Election[edit]

Buena Vista has a long history of recalls. This last one was to try to recall 5 trustees after they tried to remove the mayor from office. It has been mis-reported that the mayor wrote two articles that caused the trustees to try to remove her. She only wrote one. The mayor at her own expense hired a lawyer that found that the trustee had violated her 1st amendment rights.
