I see that there is some concern that my article needs to be brought up to Wikipedia standards and I will try to confirm to the best of my ability as to avoid deletion. I have been very careful to avoid anything other than facts in regard to the music career of Brian Maes. I have viewed many other articles on Wikipedia about living musicians to try and get ideas on how to present my article. I will begin gathering material to cite immediately to help verify all content in the article. I welcome any and all suggestions on how to proceed. I feel that Brian Maes'contribution is noteworthy and hope to show how his work has done much to nurture aspiring musicians in and around his community. dubious[edit]

"Joe Carlton prepared Maes for his audition and acceptance to Berklee in 1975" I can't cite this with a published reference, but I know from personal experience that Berklee College of Music did hold auditions for prospective students in 1975. At that time, students could enroll with minimal musical skills.
