Questionable entry[edit]

This is from her article: "In April 2020, The Intercept reported that leading up to her 2017 reelection campaign, Jones received campaign contributions from the then-chairman and another board member of First Independence Bank, which runs a loan program for the city's police and fire pension fund. As the city council's representative on the pension fund board of trustees, Jones was directly responsible for the city's contract with the bank.[5] The contributions, made within days of each other in October 2015, totaled over $7,000.[6]"

This seems to be written in Wikipedia's voice and seems to read as implying Ms. Jones has done something wrong. Since there are no reliable secondary sources accusing her of any wrong doing, I have deleted this per WP:RS. Please contribute to a discussion here if you object. Good catch. The Intercept is certainly biased in favor of Jones' primary opponent in tomorrow's election – Muboshgu (talk) 19:25, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
