Remake - rewrite ?[edit]

Watching the "remake" I am thinking it is a complete rewrite, with a plot only very loosely connected to the original. Am I mistaken? For myself, I thought the original brilliant. I am finding the remake compelling but shallow, with editing standing in place of both narrative coherence and realism, and with some furiously dramatic acting held together by endless snapshots of cryptic expressions. While I agree that it has been comprehensively reimagined, it does fall within the definition of remake - perhaps the word "remake" in the article should be substituted with "re-interpreted"? I'll be bold and see how it goes. Keristrasza (talk) 20:23, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Title: what does this mean?[edit]

The title of the book is adopted from an experience Newman had while on a walk with her mother.

Err. I do not understand this. Could someone be more specific, please?

The interview in the Daily Telegraph expands a little to say that her dog ran under a barbed wire fence. But don't think its worth mentioning in the lede.Martinlc (talk) 09:41, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
