Copyright of source[edit]

The article started life as a copypaste from [1], which gives a "preferred copyright notice" of [2], which is an introduction to the concept of copyright. Not terriblly useful in ascertaining the copyright of this specific paragraph.

I'm choosing to believe that the bio (which is a cover note for a materials collection) was written by an US Govt employee, or someone under contract to the US Govt, and is therefore in the public domain. --Alvestrand (talk) 13:45, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
