the origin of the word "boja"[edit]

The origin of the Name Bojana it doesn't come from turkish that means colour. It is an old-Slavic word. Please note that in the East- and West-European Slavic languages, for colour they use the word for farba, barva, kolor... Boja in turkish means colour and has nothing to do with the meaning of the name Bojana. Most of the South-European languages use the word "boja" for colour because of the influence of the Ottoman empire. Bojana comes from the old-slavic which means battle, fighter, warrior.
