With all due respect to the "Pixie" renderer, is it appropriate that it's singled out as an alternative here on the BMRT page? ERobson 05:25, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yeah I agree. It seems kindof like someone hacked the page into a pixie advertisement. Joeedh 02:47, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Amid the acquisition, Pixar sued Gritz and Exluna (now NVIDIA) for a variety of patent, trade secret, and copyright issues that were flatly denied by Exluna" - this sentence is ungrammatical and I can't make sense of what it is intended to say. Are the words "sued" or "pressed charges" missing (I'm only guessing because of the term "flatly denied" - what was flatly denied? --67.214.251.202 (talk) 19:56, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

They should bever have quit teaching sentence diagramming ...

"sued" is the fifth word in the sentence. Pixar sued Exluna and Gritz. To be more correct, Pixar brought suit in a court of law claiming damages. Exluna and Gritz were the defendants. (Yes, in civil court there aren't 'defendants' but I forget the correct term at the moment.)

Pixar sued for "patent, trade secret, and copyright issues" which is not exactly correct. They sued for damages and based their claim on patent, trade secret and copyright regulations. But you get the idea .. or maybe not :)

Gritz and Exluna "flatly denied" the claims (i.e., damages based on patent, trade secret and copyright regulations.)

Yes, the sentence is not written in the best journalistic style but it is understandable. Maybe I'll go change "flatly" to "categorically" ... 210.22.142.82 (talk) 02:59, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"precursor to Gelato"???[edit]

How so? Could someone possibly elaborate on the statement? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.130.6.148 (talk) 21:31, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
