Oddity[edit]

Sakura is one of numerous Japanese personal names, such as "Shinobu" and "Hikaru", that are used by both genders. There are so many of these names that there is very little remarkable in their use. Michael Hopcroft 06:14, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, it would be more remarkable for a Japanese name to be completely gender specific, the concept of 'biological gender' within the Japanese language is best understood as 'having male characteristics' versus 'having female characteristics', a really tomboyish girl will probably be referred to with words which usually are reserved for males and the reverse, it's not as rigid as 'he' and 'she' in English are. Anachronism[edit]

Just to make sure[edit]

So, is it normal for the plot of the second season to completely drop off from the first? As in, I thought the younger sister was an enemy of sorts. I like the series, but did I miss something here? Durarara[edit]

In the Durarara anime, some of the characters are seen talking about an angel that flys around and says "pipirupirupirupi" and then are later seen saying that they would torture someone using the methods described in a copy of Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan. Dokuro's chant[edit]

In the "Plot" section of the article, it says that her chant ("Pipiru-pipiru-pipiru-pi") is a habit of hers, and bears no significance. In her part of the "Characters" section, it says the chant is what allows her to resurrect people with Excalibolg. Is that a mistake, or am I getting confused by the wording?
