Article name[edit]

This article should be moved/renamed to match the proper title of the beverage. The product(s) made under the Black Velvet name are advert'd simply as Black Velvet. The article should rightly be moved to provide proper caps...perhaps under the article title Black Velvet (Canadian whisky). 156.34.232.31 01:48, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea. I changed it to Black Velvet (whisky), I hope that's ok.--Commander Keane 02:43, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Schenley's in WWII[edit]

I have several sources that say Black Velvet (then Black Label) was available during WWII since at least 1943, which would seem to contradict "since 1945." Rees11 (talk) 16:59, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

YACK[edit]

The article forget to mention that this particular brand of whiskey is bottom-shelf, vomit inducing nastiness. It should be called "Black Out Velvet". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:6000:9FC0:7:ECEA:F2B5:A861:1A97 (talk) 10:40, 27 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
