Gossip[edit]

In this edit I removed content about the "Lebanonese" [sic] porn actress who is not appearing in the series. It doesn't strike me as encyclopedic in this case to discuss who isn't going to appear in the series. We are not a gossip magazine. We should stick to content about the people who will be participating. There might be some exceptions to this, but I don't see the relevance of the content here. Factual accuracy and BLP issues[edit]

This article has been frequently edited by User:LulzWhateven, a sockpuppet of a vandal notorious for inserting false and/or WP:BLP-violating information supported by references which are superficially plausible-looking but, on further inspection, turn out to be spurious. It is important that all claims made in this article be thoroughly checked against the cited sources. Any information not actually supported by the sources should be removed. Why is this page such a mess and outdated?[edit]

Anyone know why highly relevant information for this page keeps being removed? I mean why is the housemate infobox empty and where is the nominations table and vote count as well as more detailed housemate information. For much of this you can thank the vandal and hoaxer who has been persistently targetting this page. His "relevant" material gets removed because it is false, defamatory, and/or copyright-infringing. (See #Factual accuracy and BLP issues above.) For the rest, a look at the page history shows that material contributed by other users (probably in good faith) has been removed or rewritten because it is unsourced, promotional, or overly detailed. What "highly relevant information" is exactly missing? All participants are listed with dates of who have been evicted. All those who-voted-whom and he-beat-him she-cursed-her is non-encyclopedic in nature. I mean they're not wrong. Literally every other show with this kind of format has a nominations table but I feel the people who watch over this one are just straight up lazy. Appropriate tone for names[edit]

In these edits I restored the housemate surnames in the housemate infobox. Some editors like Rupz 10 removed them without appropriate justification, and despite my queries, never bothered to explain or restore the content. This is a no-brainer, and I know that TheRedPenOfDoom was on board with this: We present content in the formal tone that you would expect in an encyclopedia. As TRPOD noted in an edit summary, these people are not our friends, so we refer to them the way any professional reference would—we either refer to their entire name where appropriate, or, per WP:SURNAME, we refer to them using their surnames. I don't particularly care which convention is used for the infobox, so long as the choice is consistent with professional encyclopedic tone. Note that our tone guidelines represent widespread community consensus, so any deviation from that needs to be achieved through discussion here.   • Its a coerced eviction... That was the eviction of that week which was forcefully brought about by bigg boss... That week kishwar didn't walk out by her own choice and was rather made to do so by Bigg boss coercively... Hence she was coercively evicted and hence her status should be technically 'evicted'...   • Although kishwer has been coercively evicted, she had option to stay in house by convincing Prince to leave the house. But she she herself chosen to leave the house and give Prince a chance. Also she walked out of the house with Rs.1500000, which is almost 30% of winning prize. So it can't be said that she evicted, rather it can be said that she walked out of the show by her own choice.....
