Not allowed or banned?[edit]

As I don't watch Bigg Boss (India) I am not sure what have happened. Were Ashutosh, Alina and Sambhavana BANNEd or were simply NOT ALLOWED, we could make it like some other shows and mark them BANNEd rather than NOT ALLOWED in nomination tables. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BigOz22 (talkcontribs) 00:03, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If the housemate is not allowed to nominate then the box should use the blue color listed on the project page and the box should read "Banned" in italics. The only exception to this is for Big Brother USA (see project page for reason). See here. Banned should only be used if the housemate can't nominate as punishment otherwise "Not Eligible" with the grey color should be used. Remember standardization is key. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 06:19, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Corrected table to use correct terms and added a note for Jade's exit plus a brief note as to why Ashutosh, Alina and Sambhavana were banned from nominations. This is how the table should look at this point, it is now standardized with other Big Brother tables. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 06:28, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BIGBRO guidelines must be adhered to[edit]

Looking at the history of the article should suggest that there were a few specific WP:BIGBRO guideline violations, mainly hasty reverting by newbie editors of the edits which were in fact originally in line with WP:BIGBRO guidelines (such as this).

I would like to request:
1) an Admin or an experienced editor to please keep an eye on this article in the interest of encyclopedic content.
2) all editors to make a constructive usage of the edit summery field by providing reasons and details of the changes made.
3) all editors to discuss the issues/changes on this talk page first before going for an careless undo/revert.

Week 5 open nominations[edit]

Since it was Open nominations as ordered by Bigg Boss for week 5, the order of the members called by Bigg Boss to declare their nominations is relevant with respect to certain people following a trend and adding their votes towards one person who was nominated by initial members. A trend that is clearly evident in this given example. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.245.15.164 (talk) 11:25, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help needed to log "weekly summary": tasks, punishments, exits[edit]

Since Bigg Boss format is largely based on Big Brother (UK), a good example of an article to follow is Big Brother 2006 (UK). The Nomination table closely follows the usage of WP:BIGBRO guidelines as found here. Along with maintaining nomination table and its notes, it would surely help WP:ABOUT and WP:BIGBRO project to log the weekly summary such as, mainly, the weekly tasks, punishments and exits. Any contribution from the regular followers of Bigg Boss is welcomed.

Help needed for maintaining the standards[edit]

Over the past week or so I have largely put the order and structure of the article in place with required citations and content (in line with the comment above). The article now hald more than doubled its content and cites nearly 55 sources. I would appreciate any help with any sort of contribution from the regular followers of the show for maintaining the standard of the article and provide quality content. Kindly fill in any gaps in terms of weekly summery and other relevant sections and also help keep vandalism in check. As the show gains more popularity this lot would inevitably be attracted to this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.192.225.17 (talk) 10:38, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Individual pages of housemates[edit]

Following housemates of Bigg Boss (Season 2) do not have their individual article pages at WP. Please help create their entries either as individual article or as a single list:

Alternatively, there may be a single article listing summary profile details of every housemate at BB2 - something like List of Big Brother 2006 housemates (UK). This article may be started as List of housemates at Bigg Boss (Season 2). A call for attention has been placed here also. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.192.225.17 (talk) 11:02, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

good for the youngstars[edit]

it is the show in india that will be good for india as well as for us because it will help us in living —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.164.82.190 (talk) 16:08, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GAN listing removed[edit]

This article is actually more of a list, and according to the good article criteria, lists cannot earn GA status. If you feel that you're ready, you can nominate for featured list status at WP:FLC. --Edge3 (talk) 04:07, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
