Sophia[edit]

This article incorrectly cites the song "Sophia" as a song that expresses Bif's bisexuality. Although Bif is bisexual, this song is not about a person; it's about a dog. One of the lines in the song "Sophia, el perro in Madrid" lays this out very clearly, if you know Spanish. "Perro" is the Spanish word for dog. 68.82.214.8 (talk) 21:53, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vegan for health reasons[edit]

It is my understanding that Bif Naked is not vegan for any ethical reasons whatsoever. I have found this to be confirmed by articles I've read, such as [1] and [2]. She has proclaimed many times that she finds the consumption of animals for food unhealthy, and she continues to wear leather and fur. Please provide some information that indicates Bif has any ethical beliefs against consuming animals before adding such info, as I have never found them. She is concerned about the ethical treatment of animals, but does not believe using animals for food is unethical. Just unhealthy. -- Rediahs 00:24, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know, she is definitely bisexual. I remember hearing a qutoe from her saying that it's not the sex that matters but the person. Incomplete Singles[edit]

There were several singles released off both I, Bificus and Purge. I'm unsure of release dates, but "Lucky" and "Spaceman" came off I, Bificus; and Purge provided "I Love Myself Today", "Tango Shoes", and "Leader". False Information[edit]

There is some false information in this article.

"She was born in New Delhi, India and adopted by American missionaries; they eventually settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba."

I just want to say that I know someone who went to school with Bif Naked. She is not from India. She is Ukranian and was born in Meath Park, Saskatchewan. Sorry to Mr. Fishhead, but I think I have to go with what was in Interview magazine when she was interviewed (one assumes there is some fact-checking going on), which corresponds with other sources, over "Hey, I know someone who knows her, and this is wrong". In the liner notes of one of her albums (I think it's I, Bificus), she goes on a bit about having been the child of American teenagers backpacking through India. They split, her mother gave birth in New Delhi and gave her up for adoption. She was adopted by missionaries working in India who brought her back to the US, and later they moved to Manotoba. Like the anon user said above, if the info is wrong, then she is lying about herself. At any rate, Bif is the one spreading this info/disinfo, and I think you have to consider the subject to be an authority on herself until she is definitively proved to be "lying". 12.22.250.4 20:18, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
