Please look at this article - it seems that his son was part of an anti-facist group and died because of that, the Partisans where communists, and i seems rather unrealistic that he was killed by them.

What?[edit]

"... his poems in the Venetian language, which had no literary tradition until then.[3]". This is grotesque. Ever heard of Ruzante, of Goldoni. of Giorgio Baffo, of a theatrical masterpiece such as La Venexiana? For a start, have a look at the Italian article on Venetian literature. The purported offline source makes the statement even more farcical. Besides, Marin writes in Gradese, whose relationship to Venetian is rather complex and which is not even mentioned in the article. 84.73.134.206 (talk) 16:00, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
