First Album?[edit]

Here by my side lies a CD, Bernard Allison "The Next Generation", published 1990 by the TELDEC Record Service GmbH, "Recorded at Relief Studio, Belfaux, Switzerland, December 1989" (quoted from the booklet).

So I took the liberty to add this one to the discography.

That's awesome. I first heard, Luther, him just a few weeks ago. While searching YouTube for some rare albert king I might not of heard yet, I stumble across a rendition of red rooster and immediately became a fan. Does luther still play gigs here in the states? Date of father's death[edit]

An unregistered editor changed the date of Allison's father's death to 1998 without modifying sources based on an allegation that Allison claims that year.

One of Wikipedia's core policies is that content must be verifiable to a reliable source, and the source that is cited for this passage is pretty clear. It says, "His first tour of the United States was in the fall 1997, immediately following Luther's death." AllMusic also indicates that his father died in 1997. As does the Encyclopedia of Arkansas: "He died on August 12, 1997, at University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin."

I have restored the sourced date. Please provide reliable, published references if you wish to discuss changing it again. --Moonriddengirl ^(talk) 12:24, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
