Untitled[edit]

I was looking for info on the Cher song, including how the vocal was made to sound the way it does in that song. Can we have a disambiguation page?

Alternate Version of Darkness[edit]

There seems to be two different versions of the final track "Darkness". One which is 3:56 (listed) and came with the version of the album I personally own, but there also seems to be another version with slightly different lyrics and guitar work that is 3:49. I think this needs to be looked into and possibly noted on the page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.204.62.205 (talk) 02:02, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to Genre[edit]

I changed the genre from Nu Metal to Hard Rock/Alternative Metal. The Sickness may have had some Nu Metal elements, but these elements, and I'm sure everyone will agree, have disappeared in this album. Dan 01:00, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dont be too sure. They have not "disappeared", they were just toned down more. The appropriate thing would be to put Hard rock and Nu metal in the infobox. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.163.5.144 (talk) 02:55, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think so. I've listened to enough metal music to know that there is not any kind of nu metal music on this album. Alternative metal mainly dominates the music on this album with hard rock being secondary. Also, if whoever keeps changing the infobox to "Nu MetalAlternative metal, hard rock" is reading this, please stop. You leave a note saying "Listen to 'Droppin' Plates' and you'll know why I put that there" but "Droppin' Plates" is a track from The Sickness and not Believe so I'll ask that you quit vandalizing the infobox.

I have to agree, The Sickness is just sitting on Nu Metal but this album onwards they very much abandon the genre. The only real nu metal element on this album is the occasional use of drop d tuneing which is currently used in more heavy genres than just nu metal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.180.41.52 (talk) 07:36, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This and all other Disturbed albums are nu metal. However, since the album does fall into other sub-genres of metal all should be listed but nu metal, being the primary genre should be listed first. --Jimv1983 (talk) 21:12, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
