I took out the Wikify tag because I think everything's OK now. If I goofed, my apologies. RedRollerskate 16:52, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is this true? February 2005 – "Man in the Middle" #1 Turkey I don't think the single was released in Turkey Firnasser

The new revamp[edit]

I'm currently totally revamping this page... please don't revert it, I'm working as fast as I can!

I'm concentrating on the track lists now, but more information about each album will be added after they are done.

This discography page is already horrible, ladden with too many links. There are guidelines regarding length of articles on wikipedia. And there are numerous discography pages where you can look on how to do it. The discography page is not supposed to have tracklisting for all albums, and certainly not other information about release which you intend to add. Start trimming the page to list studio albums, major compilations, live records only. For singles you can make a seperate page. You can look at some jazz artist to see how singles are to be done. Since every album has got it's own page, let the rest of information about album go there. I suggest you to see discographies by Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Billy Holliday. You will feel sorry when someone will revert your edits and all your work will be gone.

I second this. This is way too cluttered with information that is better left on the individual articles of each album. Ferdinandhudson (talk) 09:12, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notes[edit]

JoeBrennan 19:58, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sources please! Use the authorized bio by Leaf, the fat bio from 2000, any other printed things you can. Liner notes on the LP or CD are OK. www.beegees-world.com has a super collection of articles you can cite as the print source, but show your appreciation and mention the web page too (no it is not my page!). It's really a pain to find sources-- it can take an hour or more per fact-- but you end up with solid verifiable stuff that wikipedia users can rely on. And you'll be removing a few things that are there now.
You need to get in the non-album songs somehow. Is that another page for another time?
I took out Supernaturals because it's just a bootleg made from a VHS copy of the film. "Fan club release" = bootleg, almost every time anyway. No question on this one.
Good luck!

Wow[edit]

This "article" is horrible. It's just a dump of the track listings of all the beegees albums.

Modifying...[edit]

I'm modifying all the page. It was really terrible. I've just finished the "Regular Albums" part. I'm gonna modify all the parts. Hope it's looking good.

The discography page is in desperate need of trimming as it is a complete and utter mess. These discography pages on Wikipedia arent meant to contain everything on one page but to sum it up and link to separate album pages where the rest of the information *can* be included, not here! Now someone added a place holder section for music videos which is just over the top. Just clean this up and divert all extraneous information to each albums wiki instead as it should be. I have here an LP (I think an best of) from the Bee Gees thats not in the list. It's from 'Polystar' an contains the following titles: Side A: 1. Tragedy; 2. How Deep Is Your Love; 3. I've gotta Get A Message To You; 4. Words; 5. Saved By The Bell; 6. I.O.I.O.; 7. He's A Liar; 8. Night Fever; 9. Soldiers; Side B: 1. Living Eyes; 2. Stayin' Alive; 3. Too Much Heaven; 4. In The Morning; 5. Massachusetts; 6. New York Mining Disaster 1941; 7. Saw A New Morning; 8. To Love Somebody; 9. Paradise. Number is 810 728-1

SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER[edit]

It is not a regular album by the Bee Gees.

It is needeed a special field to arrange all the soundtracks the Bee Gees worked on.

Disco charts? AC?[edit]

I was shocked to learn this evening that the band only had one #1 on the U.S. Disco charts, given how closely the band is associated with that style during their late-'70s period. I think it would be informative to present their chart peaks on the U.S. Disco charts, as they were called then (and whatever other notable dance music charts exist in other territories), as certainly others of their songs must have done well on those charts during that period. As they are at their heart really a pop group and such a great deal of their music was in a ballad or mid-tempo style and so not released to clubs, one way of doing this would be to present merely those tracks that charted on the U.S. Disco chart in a separate table, as opposed to adding another column to the tables that currently exist. I would note that there is more U.S. chart info (AC, R&B, Country) for Bee Gees covers and productions here than for their own releases, and of course I think it's notable to track the band's own successes on the Disco and AC charts. 'Melody' soundtrack[edit]

Should this 1971 album appear on the Soundtracks section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by R. sparts (talkcontribs) 12:17, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can't believe[edit]

A: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band/ With a Little Help from My Friends B: Nowhere Man/ Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) in 1978. Seems to be a copying bug ??

No, that is correct, I own said single myself. The two songs on each sides segues into eachother. Ferdinandhudson (talk) 15:37, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
