This is a hoax.

Despite the original version of the article being faked, there is actually (for whatever definition of 'actually' applies to cryptids) a "Beaman" cryptid, with non-Wikipedia-sourced discussion going back several years. DS (talk) 13:18, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
