Ice or no ice?[edit]

Beacon (disambiguation) claims that this valley contains the oldest ice in the world (4 mio years). But this article here says that it is ice free. That sounds so contradicting that I do not understand it at all. Peterthewall (talk) 08:58, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
