Good article?[edit]

@FrostFairBlade: Thanks for expanding this article! Have you considered nominating for Good article status? ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:01, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Another Believer: You're welcome! I think that this article has potential to eventually get to GA. As is, it still feels a bit lackluster in describing the impact the ad had, and I think there's still more references out there.
However, some of these seem difficult to procure – I'm not having very much luck finding the full text of Advertising Age articles by Bob Garfield from 1991 that talk about the ad in-depth (Ad Age digital archives from both Wikipedia Library resources and other sources only seem go back to ~1996 for full text articles). I think that those articles would help flesh things out by giving a lot more context and understanding from a 90s marketing perspective.
If you have any ideas on how I could find a copy of those articles, or any articles circa 1991 from marketing/advertising journals that aren't already digitally archived, I'd appreciate it! Cheers! – FrostFairBlade (talk) 03:06, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
