Confusing sentence[edit]

Hoping someone can reword the following so it makes sense: "This is yet more compelling when one considers that it was reported the many if the Irish shot deployed wore the distinctive red livery of the earl of Tyrone. "

One of the typos is clearly meant to be "many of." Beyond that, I'm lost. "Irish shot deployed wore?" Any clarification would be great. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 03:04, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
