Hindu culture?[edit]

When googling the topic, I noticed that an amazingly large number of hits for the phrase "bathroom singer" came from Indian websites. Is it a kind of cultural phenomenon? `'mikka (t) 07:51, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting subject[edit]

Good job at making it encyclopedic. -- Stbalbach 16:27, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto the above. I'm saving this one in a scrapbook along with Bacon-Erdos number and Evil reptilian kitten-eater from another planet. --Lenoxus 19:31, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Acoustics[edit]

I have to say, I'm a bit skeptical about the Carnegie Hall-in-your-water-closet theory. I had always thought that people sung in the shower because they were (1) alone and unembarrassed and (2) unconsciously reacting to the sound of moving water.--Pharos 23:21, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hehe, every pregnant woman knows that an unconscious reaction to the sound of moving water is an urge for taking a leak. `'Míkka 20:23, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why do we even have a page like this on Wikipedia?[edit]

This is the most ridiculous article I've ever seen....how is singing in the bathroom a topic worth putting in an encyclopedia?!? ForgetfulDoryFish (talk) 20:56, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Because it's an activity which many people engage in and/or talk about, and which has attained a certain proverbial status. R. Crumb and his Cheap Suit Serenaders performed a catchy song about it ("Singing in the bathtub..."). -- AnonMoos (talk) 03:34, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Too lazy to nominate this for deletion, same as everyone else who accidentally comes here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.2.146.68 (talk) 04:57, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pheneomenom[edit]

I probably spelt phenenmonom wrong but hey. I wouldn't really say singing in the shower is a 'phenomenom' its just something some people have an urge to do. I came here from a userbox as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ooh Saad (talkcontribs) 09:31, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
