Ban Borić and Boris Kalamanos[edit]

There is still no concensus on whether these two were one and the same person.--Zoupan 05:51, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's not our job, as that would be OR. We can only (and should) mention the thesis exists amongst esteemed historians, see discussion. Sevvyan (talk) 16:19, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Recent expansion[edit]

I am grateful to Marko Sarajevo for paying attention to this article, but the choice of sources is dubious to say the least. At least half the authors were born in the 19th century. One of the books was published in 1851 and has been superseded by literature that has been itself superseded. Another book is a high school textbook from 1950. A vocational high school textbook. reverted to "stable" version.--Zoupan 00:38, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Zemun[edit]

Fine 1991 only has one sentence regarding Borić and claims that Borić sent troops to fight the Byzantines at Zemun in 1167, but this is nowhere found in other sources and seems to be a confusion of Fine regarding the 1154 campaign (of which Fine does not mention Borić). He cites no sources.--Zoupan 07:01, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
