Hi there, my name is CaliforniaDreamsFan, and I'll be reviewing this article! You will receive the review within a couple of days .

Review[edit]

Infobox[edit]

  • Remove the recorded section, since there is no info about it.
  • Everything else is good!

Lead section[edit]

  • "the recording was described as resembling the works of fellow Romanian female singer Inna." –––> "the recording was compared by critics (if its described/compared by them) to the works of fellow Romanian female singer Inna."
  • The rest is really good!

Background and reception[edit]

  • You state that Alesta is Alexandra Stan's "debut album", but it is her "eponymous second studio album" through the lead section? Change this please.
  • "The track remains an up-tempo dance-pop recording, with it also featuring elements of tropical music and latin music into its sound." –––> "The track is an up-tempo dance-pop song, which includes musical elements of tropical music and latin music".
  • It's fine to have the reception here, but summarize the critiques in a first sentence; (i.e. "Balans" received positive/negative/mixed reviews from most music critics.)
  • Also, you haven't mention music critics during the lead section; add it in there please.
  • For the Umberto Olivio review, you state that the song received negative feedback, but based on what I see, you have mentioned that Olivio "commends" the resemblance to fellow singer Inna, and praised the collaboration with Mohombi? This sounds like a mixed review (with the following comments Olivio stated).
  • Also, is this the only review you can find for the song? There must be more, but if not, then add this to he lead section; "Balans" received a mixed review by RnB Junkie editor Umberto Olivio, who commended the collaboration, but criticized its lack of innovation and formulaic production. He also compared the song to the work of fellow Romanian singer Inna."

Promotion[edit]

  • Rename to Promotion and music video please.
  • "tracklist" –––> "setlist" is a more appropriate word.
  • "The track was as well performed in a stripped-down version, featuring a live played guitar and a keyboard, for Romanian radio station Pro FM." –––> To me, this doesn't make entire sense. Re-write it as "Stan performed an acoustic version of the song on Romanian radio station Pro FM, which was well received by the public/critics." When you mention "well performed", I don't know if it is a critics point of view or fans point of view, so change/edit/remove this.
  • "With this occasion, she also provided a performance of Dua Lipa's "Be the One".[8]" –––> "After this, she had also performed a live acoustic version of "Be the One" by English recording artist Dua Lipa."
  • "where it has since amassed over one million views." –––> Knowing that the video has probably received more views than one million, it's slightly irrelevant and is an on-going thing; say something like this "An accompanying music video for "Balans" was directed by Anton San and released onto Stan's YouTube channel on 2 March 2016; by [the date of the publication you have provided in the citation], the video amassed over one million views."
  • "Italian publication, RnB Junk," –––> mention the editor of the publication.

Track listings[edit]

  • Remove the 's' after Track listings; there is only one available format with one recording.

Overall[edit]

Very good article, just some touch ups to correct; on hold for 7 days! Good luck CaliforniaDreamsFan (talk · contribs} 06:40, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@CaliforniaDreamsFan: Done everything. Just to clear some things from the review, I haven't said "well performed", it was "as well performed", which means "also performed". Also, I couldn't find any other review of information for "Balans". Best, Cartoon network freak (talk) 15:10, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

MASSIVE MIS-INFORMATION[edit]

Please do not revert our edits. The article was terribly inaccurate citing illegal releases and leaks of the song as the true release. You have no idea what you are talking about and are reverting our good faith edits to include poorly sourced reviews shitting on your fellow Romanian.

Not a good look.

Also, TOPHIT in Russia is listed as a BADCHART in wiki lists.

The English pronounciation you have of BALANS is wrong.

Basically, everything there was wrong and now corrected. It is a Sony Music song, not any of the others you mentioned which illegally leaked it out from Alexandra's old management (remember the beating she got from that guy, yes his associates).

Leave it be kindly, and go correct Romanian corrupt politician articles - I am sure you can have great fun with that!

If you want to be helpful, add the proper artwork by uploading it to the article otherwise do not touch it and I will in 3 days from now: https://i.scdn.co/image/c89d014527fd5b7365b8d42d592ab49aacb993fa

In sum, internet trolls have been revising my good faith edits that are based upon the SONY MUSIC official release of the song in favoor of illegal unauthorized copyright infringing releases noted in the article which they are reverting to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Musicstarboy007 (talkcontribs) 11:29, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
