Merger[edit]

I am personally against the Idea of merging the "Part II & III" article into this one. First of all they are both two distinctively different game that feature different game play elements and tell different parts of the story. Second, "Part II & III" has enough content to be a separate article. I mean it not like there nothing much to this article, it has a cover and screenshot images, and it talks about gameplay and sets the story up adequately. Okay, but the other BTTF game stub articles should be merged. --Nreive (talk) 09:13, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But it's really too short just to have it per game.. It should be a "Video Games based on Back To The Future Movie" Section —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.215.40.157 (talk) 21:31, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This merger request is over 2 years old. In general, two different games can have two different articles. --NortyNort (Holla) 10:35, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Different games?[edit]

To me, it seems that the game released by LJN for the NES is a totally different game than the earlier one released for the CPC, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum by Electric Dreams. I think this article should be split into two, one of the NES title, and one for the others (or at the least, the article should be written to reflect the fact that the games are wholly separate other than sharing source material). Yes they are completely different games. One is a side scroller and the other is a vertical scroller. 2fort5r (talk) 17:42, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Two new articles at

It depends how much information we can use provided the sources we have. We could conceivably have one "List of Back to the Future video games" article instead of spreading them out all over the place. I think a similar thing is currently being proposed for the Who Framed Roger Rabbit video games, but I'm on the fence on that one. –MuZemike 01:02, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, I didn't realize we had a List of Back to the Future video games list out there :) –MuZemike 01:03, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
