Merge Suggestion[edit]

Should this article be merged into the main BASIC article, or perhaps with a few other small BASIC-based-language articles to create some sort of "BASIC Variations" article? As it stands, I can't see much that can be added to this, besides perhaps something about what distinguishes it from regular BASIC. No it should not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.159.116.33 (talk) 01:08, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that it should not be merged, I dropped in on this page because I needed some examples of BASIC-11 statements for a Quora answer I am writing. Seeing how short the article was came as a shock to me, I felt a bit like Arthur Dent reading "Harmless" as the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy entry for the Earth!
BASIC-11 was 10 years of my working life! To see it reduced to a couple of sentences is depressing! If I have time I will stop by one day and expand the article.

No don't merge. Added a few references at least. It was used by a lot of software commercially released and internally made Tipistile (talk) 21:58, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
