Editing Information[edit]

Hi. I am not sure who edited this page. But either way, I got a lot of information from the introduction to the first volume of his Devar Avraham (written by his son), including that story with returning to Kovno before the war. As I am not proficient with Wikipedia as you seem to be, I was unable to list this as a source/reference. If you would do so, I would be much obliged.Rebyid613 (talk) 04:59, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I'm the one who made some edits to this page, just some cleanup and I added a source I found on Google Books. I'll see what I can do about citing his son's introduction too. In any case, welcome to Wikipedia. Feel free to let me know if I can help with anything else. Zachlipton (talk) 05:08, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm. I'm having trouble finding the details on the book in order to cite it. I did find this Hebrew edition on Amazon. Does your copy have an ISBN number by any chance? Otherwise, if you want to just give the source information here (title, author, publisher, date, etc...), I'd be happy to format it and insert it for you. Or you can try adding it to the article if you'd like (just type your citation inside <ref>CITATION HERE</ref> tags where the footnote appears). Zachlipton (talk) 05:15, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There is an online copy to the Devar Avraham that can be found on Hebrewbooks. Here is a link to the introduction written by his son - http://hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=14443&st=&pgnum=3. Thank you.Rebyid613 (talk) 05:21, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, thank you. I added a citation for that link. You can check out WP:CITE if you're interested in learning more about adding citations (citations are important especially when creating new articles as citations to reliable sources are often essential to avoid having your articles speedily deleted). You can also make the process even easier if you go to Special:Preferences, click "gadgets," and turn on the checkbox for "refTools." This adds a handy citation toolbar to the edit window. See Wikipedia:RefToolbar 2.0 for details. In any case, happy editing! Zachlipton (talk) 09:21, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
