Style[edit]

I see that this page is currently under reconstruction. However, I would like to draw your attention to the style of the article. The way it is currently written does not seem very suitable for an encyclopedia article. --Ericdn (talk) 17:03, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The style may change somewhat. The content for this article was taken from a paper that I wrote several years ago for a different context. --Coosbane (talk) 17:21, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"Measure twice, cut once." While you're working on modifying this page, it might be best to try your modifications out here on the talk page before making continuous changes to the article itself. This minimizes disruption to Wikipedia users who may be reading (or trying to read) the article. In addition, the talk page is a wonderful place to gain insight and feedback from many different people. If you would like further assistance, I will be glad to help you, or locate other resources to assist you if I'm unable to directly provide help. --Ericdn (talk) 17:25, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
As flattering as the idea of people reading this may be, it is improbable that the topic attracts all that many all that quickly. In any event, I am far too old to change my way of writing by much. As for assistance, that is genuinely appreciated, and any references beyond those already in place would be valued. --Coosbane (talk) 17:33, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Granted, this is probably not going to be one of the most popular articles on Wikipedia. Nonetheless, very frequent changes on an article that is still in progress can be somewhat distracting. However, I see you have put the proper template on the page to warn people of this - that is good. As I said, if there's anything I can do to help, please let me know. Though I know nothing about autoclaves, I can at least help with proofreading, questions of style, etc. Good luck with your writing! --Ericdn (talk) 17:37, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I returned a tone template to the top of the page because there's still un-encyclopedic content. I plan to work on stylistic edits as I have time. Superflyguy (talk) 20:10, 12 March 2009 (UTC) It is a great job.Does this article write by your own? Or it is collating of data? And its source? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lc4511 (talkcontribs) 06:18, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I love the tone and style of this article. I agree that it is long, but I really enjoy the discursive style and amusing footnotes. Why should each article be as dry and humourless as possible? I'd say keep it as it is! Peerwat (talk) 10:58, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Under https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autoclave_(industrial)#Principle_of_operation, it reads "Typically, there are two classes of autoclave" but goes on to describe only one type. The second type should be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.17.225.49 (talk) 12:22, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
