Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: not moved. At present the conditions necessitating the creation of a disambiguation page are not met. Favonian (talk) 22:44, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Austin CameronAustin Cameron (Nascar Driver) – I believe the page should be moved, so the current Austin Cameron page can be used to show multiple entries of other Austin Camerons. i.e. http://AustinCameron.com and http://AustinCameron.net Socca1157 (talk) 00:54, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's not necessary because there is no other article on Wikipedia yet about any other Austin Cameron. Disambiguation pages are needed only when there are two or more articles that would have the same title. If someone writes another article, we can think about moving this page at that time. (btw, http://AustinCameron.com is about the NASCAR driver.) Station1 (talk) 07:43, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Station1, it isn't needed. Right now there is only one Austin Cameron. -- Nascar1996(TalkContribs) 21:04, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose -- If the other Austin CAmeron is notable, he can be dealt with by a hatnote on the present article, without a change of name. If there are two or more others a dabpage can be created, again with a hatnote. A move would only be necessary if the other person is the Primary subject.
