A fact from Audrey Terras appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 31 May 2009 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that as a student, mathematicianAudrey Terras was steered into math away from her other choice, history, by a post-Sputnik program that paid students to study mathematics?
I recently created an article about Riho Terras (mathematician) and it seems that he is the spouse of Audrey Terras:
Her birth name was Audrey Bowdoin, changed to Audrey Terras early in her career.[1]
Article from 1970 (in Estonian) states that Riho Terras married with "Anne Bowdoin" who also studied at the University of Maryland.[2]
However, since later biographies or sources about these persons don't mention this, I wonder if the omission is deliberate and should not be covered on Wikipedia? -- intgr[talk] 22:19, 3 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
