Or possibly the composer's agent? (The article says Rodas lives in London.) I initially supposed this was purely a self-promotion article, since there were no third-party sources cited, but after I added a flag, John Walker's Latin American Review article was added (along with two other, more doubtful sources). I did it on the 9th December 2009, a few times during that day. Nearly one hour worth of work in all. Minor and/or neutral editing and a link that was reverted, with reason, as you can see in the record. Missing Works[edit]

I know about three works by Arturo Rodas not mentioned in the catalogue: "Presencias" for piano 4 hands that was premiered in a concert at Cité des Arts Auditorium,Paris, 1982, it was played by the sisters Andranian. After, in 1988, Presencias was played at the Purcell Room in London. This time the pianists were Pierre Deschamps and Jacqueline Puleio. The other works are: Three pieces for guitar (played by Raymond Gratien) and Movimiento for harp (played by Annie Poirier). The last two works were also played at the concert 1st concert, the one at the Cité des Arts. I know about those pieces. Two of them are lost: "Presencias" for piano duet and "Three Pieces" for guitar. Whereas "Movimiento" for harp was whithdrawn by the composer.--Anne-Marie Martin (talk) 12:20, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is possible I recover the 3 guitar pieces some day but "Presencias" are proving harder to locate: I know as I did try to track "Presencias" repeatedly without luck. Rely on the HD or on paper. Still better I think than some important ecuadorian composers that lost their works in the earthquakes! I also remember a haunting novel by Jacob Wasserman in which a composer looses the whole body of his work in a fire!--Arturo Rodas (talk) 17:58, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
